Wool Blend Coat exists to do one thing properly: sell a winter coat that looks like a proper winter coat, in the colour you actually want, at a price that does not require a second thought.
Most coat shopping goes the same way. You find a silhouette you like, and then it comes in black, grey and one apologetic beige. Or the colour you want exists, but only in the size that sold out first, or at twice the price because it is the "seasonal" shade. We decided to build the store the other way round. One coat, chosen carefully, offered in thirteen colours and in every size from XS to XXL, all at the same price. Black, Navy, Dusty Blue, Klein Blue, Grey, Army Green, Chocolate, Rust, Crimson, Camel, Rosewood, Sand and Ivory. Tap any one of them on the product page and every photograph swaps to that exact colourway, so you are looking at what you are buying rather than at a swatch and a hope.
What we care about
The coat itself is a mid-length, double-breasted cut with a wide notch lapel, a proper button front, two functional side pockets set into the seams and a full lining. It falls below the knee on most heights, which is what makes it read as a coat rather than a jacket, and it is cut roomy enough to go over a jumper without pulling across the shoulders.
Being straight with you
We would rather give you the number than let you assume. This is a wool blend, not pure wool: the shell is 95% polyester with 5% wool, and the lining is 100% polyester. That blend is what gives it the soft brushed hand and a little give across the shoulders without the weight, the price or the fragility of a pure-wool overcoat. It is a lined mid-weight coat made for cold, dry days - commuting, the office, weekends, evenings out - with room for a layer underneath when it drops further. It is not insulated and it is not waterproof, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
The same goes for how we run the store. Every measurement is published on the product page, so you can lay a coat you already own flat and compare before you commit. US shipping is free on this coat, your delivery window is shown before you pay, and if the fit is not right you have 30 days from delivery to send it back. Nothing is buried in a footnote.
